1-Minute Chocolate Lava Cake


Before Bliss Batter existed, when I wanted a one minute lava cake, Nigella Lawson's was my go-to recipe. Unfortunately, every time I splurged, I was subjected to sweatpants. Now with my Bliss Batter version of Lava Cake, I can eat my cake and fit in my pants too!  I promise this recipe will satisfy your sweet-tooth!

I don't normally do this, but I insist enjoying this a la mode with fresh berries if possible! Lava cake without ice cream is like toast without jam. If you're going to eat this properly, please have a scoop of your favorite Halo Top, or Snow Monkey ice cream on top. You'll feel like you just has a $12 dessert at a French restaurant.

1/2 C Bliss Classic Batter

2TBS CoCoa Powder

1 TBS Lilly's Dark Chocolate Chips

 1 tsp Kerrygold Butter 

1 Microwavable Mug (or Ramekin)


1. Spray mug. In separate small bowl, microwave butter for 15 seconds until melted. Pour and stir all ingredients in a medium bowl. Transfer into mug. (I was making 2 in this picture).

2. Microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds. 

3. Scoop your favorite ice cream on top and enjoy! 

I had to add a little melted dark on top!
